Compare Credit Cards aims to revolutionise how customers find the best credit card options through a simple, speedy, and intuitive user experience. Our goal was to create a seamless comparison tool that meets regulatory standards and delights users. With innovative branding and a deep understanding of user needs, Compare Credit Cards stands out as a trustworthy and efficient solution in the financial landscape.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a user-friendly credit card comparison website that adhered to necessary regulations. Each credit card promotion required approval from the card providers adding complexity to the project. We engaged with stakeholders and the wider business to develop a straightforward user journey, which included a homepage, card-specific landing pages, a form to capture relevant information and a results page showcasing financial promotions and other details. Extensive user research and market analysis informed our design decisions, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and aligning with customer expectations.
Results
The final product was a streamlined, compliant credit card comparison website that achieved high user satisfaction due to its straightforward and efficient process. We met full compliance with necessary regulations, ensuring all promotions were approved by card providers. The site reached a 70% conversion rate from homepage landing to application/results view, reflecting effective design and optimisation efforts. This project exemplifies the balance of user needs and regulatory requirements delivering a seamless credit card comparison experience that enables users to make informed choices easily.
